Firstly, the WW1 notes can be downloaded HERE. Your job is to read and highlight the first 4 pages.
Next, we need to organize the events of the First World War chronologically. To do this, we are going to create a timeline. Start with the events on page 5 of the notes, and work your way through. Keep in mind that you may need to leave space for events that we haven't discussed yet, so be neat and leave space.
1. Draw a line, neatly, down the centre of your paper. You may need to continue this onto a second piece of paper before you are through.
2. Place the events, in order, on your timeline, with dates if possible. Use a neat line to signify where they belong.
3. Write a brief explanation of the event alongside each.
